How It All Began

Every year, roughly 10,000 children are taken to emergency rooms because of accidental cough syrup overdoses. In 2007, the FDA decided that medicated cough syrups were not safe for use in young children and as a result, many popular products were either removed from the market or re-labeled for use only in children over 4 years.

What did this mean for parents? It meant they had no where to turn anymore when their little ones were suffering with coughs and sore throats.

This didn’t sit well with Dr. Zak Zarbock. One of the country’s top pediatricians and a parent himself, he set out to create a safe medicine free therapy that offers real relief.
