Our Ingredients: Inspired by Nature, Backed by Science

You can browse some of the ingredients that we commonly use in our cosmetics and dietary supplements. These ingredients may be used for different purposes and in different concentrations, depending on the product and formulation.


Turmeric Root Extract

Turmeric is an herb in the ginger family that's often used as a spice in cooking. Turmeric root extract contains curcumin, known for its antioxidant properties.

Sodium Chloride

Commonly known as salt or saline, it has many uses including keeping nasal passages moisturized when in solution. 

Potassium Sorbate

An odorless and tasteless salt that’s widely used as a preservative in food, drinks, and personal care products to prolong their shelf life by preventing the growth of mold, yeast, and fungi.

Organic Agave Syrup

The agave plant, is a succulent known for its large, fleshy leaves that is native to hot, arid regions of North America. Agave syrup is helpful in soothing coughs associated with hoarseness, dry throat, and irritants.

Marshmallow Root Extract

A perennial herb native to Europe and Western Asia, has been studied for its ability to support a healthy respiratory system.

Gaultheria Procumbens Leaf Oil, Wintergreen

A low-growing shrub with an essential oil known for its distinct wintergreen scent. It’s also called the eastern teaberry, the checkerberry, boxberry, deerberry and groundberry.

English Ivy Leaf Extract

English Ivy is a woody, evergreen climbing plant native to Europe and Asia. The extract is known to support the respiratory system by helping to clear mucus when coughing due to hoarseness, dry throat, and irritants.

Elderberry Extract

Nature’s amazing dark purple berries, elderberries contain nutrients and anthocyanins (a powerful antioxidant). Also Native to Europe, Africa and parts of Asia, Elderberries are packed with Vitamins A, B and C, to help keep the body healthy and support the immune system.

Copernicia Cerifera Wax, Carnauba

From the leaves of the Copernicia Prunifera Palm, carnauba wax is a emollient wax often used with other thickening ingredients such as beeswax, to enhance the texture of a product.

Tocopherol, Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble nutrient which acts as an antioxidant and helps protect our cells from free radicals. Vitamin E also has properties that helps support the immune system.


An essential mineral that supports our immune systems; Zinc supplements are shown to increase concentrations of helper T cells in adults and helps support children's respiratory systems.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract

Packed with skin-loving benefits, Aloe is often called "the wonder plant." It’s a succulent that grows in arid climates storing water in its leaves for long periods. For centuries, Aloe has been touted for skin-supporting properties associated with dry skin. Aloe is known to be effective at soothing the skin and keeping it moist.


A beautiful byproduct of honeybees, beeswax has many skin nurturing qualities. It hydrates and conditions skin. It’s humectant properties help preserve moisture in the skin. It’s also a gentle exfoliator to help skin rejuvenated.


Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble ingredient which can be absorbed and stored in the body. The ingredient has been shown to support the immune system and support the development of healthy bones and teeth.


A Mediterranean herb with a distinct fragrance. Commonly used to flavor foods, thyme leaf flowers, leaves and essential oils are also used to support the respiratory system. At the right amounts, Thyme Leaf Extract has also been shown to help support the respiratory system.

Hydrogenated Castor Oil

Hydrogenated Castor Oil is derived from castor beans. The beans’ fatty acids hydrate the skin and create a protective barrier to lock in moisture. Its emollient properties are often used to moisturize dry skin, leaving it soft and smooth to the touch.

Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Shea

Shea Butter is a fatty oil that can be found in shea tree nuts and is known for its moisturizing and nourishing benefits for skin. When applied, the skin soaks it in, creating a soft barrier that seals in moisture. Shea butter is full of vitamins A and E which are considered powerful antioxidants.

Dark Honey

Often called liquid gold,  honey is a sweet substance stored in beehives after being produced from collected nectar. It's packed with powerful antioxidants, nutrients and vitamins and minerals. Honey is also often used as a natural sweetener. 

Dark honey has been shown to soothe coughs associated with hoarseness, dry throat, and irritants and soothe dry irritated throats.

Citric Acid

Citric Acid is a compound that can be found in citrus fruits. Citric Acid is sometimes used to help maintain the acidity of a product over an extended period of time.

Ascorbic Acid

Vitamin C is an antioxidant and essential dietary nutrient that supports the immune system by protecting the body’s cells from free radicals. 

As an antioxidant, and its major role in collagen synthesis, Vitamin C helps support skin health.
